Soon after college, Seth went to Japan to live and teach English. He drew a lot while he was there; his job as the resident English pronunciation guru did not demand all day every day. At the time he was quite taken with the work of Alphonse Mucha. He liked the fact that it is frankly decorative, and shamelessly pretty. He always was drawn to beautiful lines. This is his Mucha tribute. I think he was interested in turning it into a poster, but never actually did so. There may have been something about it that didn't quite satisfy him.
