Seth loved this picture. He had so much fun drawing the monsters for the whole series, and though the gorilla is not in the same vein as his made-up monsters, this picture in particular tickled him. Once again, the cover image is not actually a moment in the story, but rather an expression of the threat that is felt in the story--terrifying, but not too serious.
