In a note I wrote to someone today I mentioned that Seth loved Moebius' work from the time he started wanting to draw comic books (when he was in high school). This drawing is from the mid 90's, a few years before he got his first real comic book published, and though I don't know Moebius' work very well, I have a hunch this owes much to Moebius in both style and content.
