Like MC Escher, whose work Seth had admired from his earliest discovery, Seth loved the idea of showing different levels of reality in the same picture. In this page, we see at least three different levels: the surface of the paper, where the bottom frame--a little skewed--shows that this is fantasy; the story level, with the characters interacting in a room full of machinery; and the television screen, which we see slightly tilted.Friday, November 16, 2007
