Here's what happened. We were just about to leave. The museum space was FULL to overflowing with viewers. (I am guessing that 500 people showed up for the opening.) But I made one last stop at each of the places where Seth's work was on the wall, in case someone I knew was there. So I came to this page, and stood there next to guy probably in his late 20's and the woman with him. He elbowed me, pointed to Seth's picture of Batman sitting discouraged on the couch, and said, "Isn't that great?" I said, "Yeah." (sigh) He went on, "That is the best thing in this show." I said, "I agree." He just kept gazing at the picture, murmuring about its wonderfulness, and I said, "My son did that." He wasn't exactly surprised, or even particularly interested, but he said, "Tell him how great it is. THAT's what it's all about."
Ahh. I floated back to our hotel that evening, amazed at the kindness of God.

Great photo!
And great story. Nice to hear the turnout was so good and that also the attention wasn’t always focused on the mega-popular artists like Frank Miller (his work is below Seth’s Batman).
