I´m so blown away when I see the line quality of his final drawing. When I was first looking at the cover I was convinced the lines had been drawn in Illustrator, they were just to clean! What an incredible eye for detail.
Yeah, when you see the originals you can see that they are all hand drawn. He didn't necessarily erase his pencils (he used a very hard, and therefore light pencil), and so you can see some of his pencil lines on the finished product.
A stunning piece of work. Thanks for posting these.
