Buddha poster

Here is the most ambitious of Seth's tessellation designs. In this one, every tile is different, with abundant details to amuse, bemuse, and enrich even the most micro-oriented viewer of Seth's art. This is the sort of image that someone who has absolutely nothing to do can entertain himself with for hours, looking at each little design, comparing one with the other, and even--if he is so inclined--cutting the poster apart and putting it back together again in a variety of ways.

These tessellations are fascinating. It takes a special mind to create such a thing.
I'd make this my 'background' but I'm still fixated on this authority picture form last week.

We really need a nice, big The Art of Seth Fisher book...
