Seth not only did these finished drawings for Nimbus, like the one on the left, to show what the various people and places would look like, but he also did rough drawings with markers to tell the story with: storyboard drawings.
When I first saw the drawings like the one on the right, I thought that it was not Seth's, because I had never seen work of his in that style: both shaded and unpolished. But I looked closer, and sure enough, there were some of Seth's characteristic looks, in the faces of the characters. Then I remembered that he had given me a set of those acrylic drawing pens, with many shades of grey, saying he didn't need them any more. I never knew what he had used them for, but this was it.
